Matt Gorman MBE
Carbon Strategy Director, Heathrow Airport
Matt is Carbon Strategy Director for Heathrow Airport and has led sustainability and environment issues at the airport for the last decade. He led the development of Heathrow 2.0, the airport’s sustainability strategy, and played a key role in developing its approach to expansion. He is a Council member and former Chair of Sustainable Aviation, and has represented the airport and wider aviation industry in international climate and sustainability initiatives, including work with ICAO and the Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change. He was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2021 for services to the decarbonisation of aviation.
