AGS Airports appoints design partners for first stage of £350m major transformation
AGS Airports has appointed professional services firms WSP and internationally recognised architectural practice Pascall + Watson as its design partners for the next stage of its £350m AGS Reimagined transformation programme, the group’s long‑term project and vision to create modern, sustainable and passenger‑centred airports across Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton.

Following a competitive procurement process, WSP has been selected as the lead development designer for Southampton Airport, while WSP together with Pascall + Watson Architects will lead design for the transformation of Glasgow Airport.
The design phase will shape the future layout, flow and passenger experience at both airports, ensuring they meet the growing needs of customers, airline partners and their regions.
For Southampton, WSP will provide full architectural and engineering design services across all key elements, including structural, fire safety and ventilation.
For Glasgow, WSP and Pascall + Watson will jointly lead the terminal design transformation, a central investment priority within the group’s planned capital programme.

The planned transformation programme is the largest capital commitment to AGS Airports its since its formation in 2014. The programme will:
modernise the main terminal at Glasgow Airport,
upgrade Southampton’s terminal facilities,
retail transformation at Aberdeen
improve airfield infrastructure at all three airports
and accelerate AGS’ ambition to achieve net zero direct emissions by 2035.
