The latest £60m investment will see 17 new units incorporated into the terminal, doubling the number of shops and restaurants, including a range of premium retail brands and dining outlets.

The work is part of the airport’s broader multi-year transformation programme, which aims to modernise terminals, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term growth while accommodating rising passenger demand.

Bristol Airport’s chief executive Dave Lees highlighted the departure lounge improvements as a key milestone in the overall plan, emphasising the airport’s commitment to providing high-quality facilities for travellers while creating new opportunities for retail and hospitality operators.

The project forms part of a wider programme of infrastructure enhancements across the airport, including terminal expansions, upgraded security and check-in areas, and improved transport links, ensuring Bristol remains a competitive regional hub.
