David Mitchell

David leads UK Power Networks Services, the commercial division of UK Power Networks, delivering energy infrastructure solutions including for major airport clients. A Chartered Electrical Engineer, he joined the organisation as an apprentice in 1980 and has held senior roles overseeing major infrastructure projects and long-term airport contracts. His experience includes London Underground, HS1, Hinkley Point C and the Great Western Railway, with a focus on resilience, sustainability and operational performance. David holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and an MBA.
