Philip is a Director at Egis with more than 25 years of experience helping the aviation industry navigate complex change. He has worked across the full spectrum of air traffic management, bringing together airports, airlines, air navigation service providers, regulators and other airspace users to address complex operational and technical challenges. Throughout his career, Philip has focused on a central question: how can technology make aviation safer, more efficient and more sustainable? His experience spans performance-based navigation, airport surveillance, aeronautical information, and the integration of new airspace users, giving him both technical depth and a practical understanding of what modernisation means in practice. Drawing on international experience he explores how airspace modernisation can unlock capacity, reduce delays and environmental impacts, strengthen resilience and support sustainable airport growth, while balancing the needs of the aviation industry, government and local communities.
